Family Commitment
Learning Beyond the Session
Growth continues outside of tutoring. Families are expected to support their child’s progress by completing follow-up activities and encouraging regular practice.
Preparation and Involvement
Just as we dedicate time to preparing personalized sessions, families are encouraged to provide a supportive environment for follow-up work. This includes:
o Encouraging regular practice.
o Helping with the organization of materials and time management.
o Sharing feedback about how strategies are working at home.
Scheduling and Attendance
Consistent Scheduling
Sessions are scheduled a minimum of once weekly at a consistent time to build routine and momentum.
Attendence
Regular attendance is essential to ensure progress.
Late Policy
We value your time and are committed to making the most of each session. To ensure fairness and consistency for all families, the following late policy is in place:
Arrival Time
Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. If you or your child arrive late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect the next client’s session or schedule.
Tutor Delays
In the rare case that your tutor is late, the session will either be extended to make up for lost time (if possible) or a credit will be applied for the missed portion.
Excessive Tardiness
If a family is repeatedly late (e.g., more than three times within a program period), we may discuss rescheduling to a more suitable time or address the issue to ensure your child receives the full benefit of our program.
Cancellation Policy (Family-Initiated)
48 hour notice
Cancellations or rescheduling requests require at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.
No shows
